The Granby Youth Lacrosse Scholarship was first awarded in 2006 and was the culmination of a then emerging, youth, sports program that wanted to give back the community and do so in a way that celebrates scholar athletes who embody the core values that our all volunteer organization tries to instill in youth athletes sportsmanship, leadership, and focus on community.
Granby Youth Lacrosse is proud of its reputation for sportsmanship and leadership on and off the field. It has been one built over the years by the young girls and boys who show up to learn how to play the game, embrace being coached to grow, and are excited about the purpose and importance of teamwork.
Within one to two pages, please share with the Granby Youth Lacrosse nominating committee, how you have demonstrated sportsmanship, leadership, and community focus in your four years of high school. Please comment on how lacrosse influenced your successes across academics and your involvement in sports and beyond.

All candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
